Our Objectives
- To Function as a national, regional and international centre of excellence capable of attracting members from across the world to undertake advanced study and research in the Social Sciences, with special focus on the myriad facets and challenges of governance and conflicts, and their consequences for peace, human security and development
- To holistically conduct independent research on the root causes of all forms of conflict, with the aim to create data availability, proffer solutions, make policy suggestions and influence relevant bodies for intervention and settlement.
- To Enable its members to accomplish their highest potential, and on graduation, to be fully equipped with relevant cutting-edge professional skills and knowledge to enable them play important leadership roles in government, the public, private and so-called ‘third’ sectors, for sustainable human security, development and nation building
- To promotes grass-root conflict prevention measures, peace building, democratic values and conflict resolution processes. To raises peace builders, prepares and equips managers and administrators with the skills to identify and respond to matters of conflict in their organizations
